Most people know that Tulum land for sale is a great investment; so it doesn’t really matter where you buy, as long as you get your foot in the door, right?  Well, that depends on what you want.  If you really want to live out the full dream of the mystical Mayan world, there are a few points you might want to consider.

Tulum’s Paradise Beachfront – Tulum’s beachfront until now has been little known throughout the world.  Yet as it gains more exposure to international tourism has brought it greater recognition, and more and more frequently highly trusted travel sites like TripAdvisor rank Tulum among their top 10, and even top 5, beaches worldwide!  While land is generally not available on the beachfront itself, when you choose your lot, it’s worth finding something within walking distance of this Paradise on earth!

 

Trendy Shopping Areas – A lot is a lot … unless you like cafes, shops, restaurants and nice village center areas to spend time.  Since Tulum is working to preserve its small-town atmosphere amid rapid growth, one idea being implemented is that of trendy, upscale village center touting international brands and beautiful urban design.  If this is you cup of tea, don’t hesitate to look for a lot that is in one of these communities.

 

Mayan Canals and Romantic Walkways – In addition to the attractive design of a village center area, nearby resort developments can offer some other relaxing lifestyle features.  These include further shopping areas and tree-lined promenades; one resort which is in the plans even includes Mayan waterways where people can take water taxis to the beach.  Even if you’re not into “romantic,” it’s sure sounds like it will be really relaxing.

 

Golf – Resorts in Tulum are also planning to include professional golf courses.  The Riviera Maya (the stretch between Tulum and Cancun) has been named Latin America’s golf capital, with 9 professional courses and new ones on the way; some of these new ones are in Tulum.  While can enjoy all of these, if you’re a golf lover, why not find a lot near golf course, a future golf course site?

 

The Quaint Town Center – We can’t forget about Tulum’s current town center, which is quaint, with rustic (but good!) restaurants, art shops and some basic services – which are always growing, and now include a Walmart and several banks.  Again, buying a lot within a walk of the town center will make a difference in your lifestyle.

So while lots may LOOK the same, location and development amenities will play a big role in shaping your lifestyle after you’ve built your home and are living in Tulum.
