When you decide that Tulum land for sale is the real estate you want to invest in in Mexico, you have some excellent options, and – just as importantly – there is some variety in styles and location.  Consider the following main options.

Ecological Land – This is one of the most popular options in Tulum.  Tulum as a tourist center and expat town grew up around first the Mayan ruins overlooking the beaches (which are considered among the most beautiful in the world) and then a strip of “green” hotels, where visitors can stay in cabins without electricity right next to the sand of the beach, under the bright Caribbean moon.

From these eco-hotels, Tulum’s green focus has grown to include events such as Eco Glamour – an exposition which presents a broad range eco-friendly items for a luxury lifestyle – and, most importantly, a unique style of sustainable real estate which offers a complete luxury lifestyle.  There are now land developments which are geared towards this luxury-ecological lifestyle and are ever more attractive to a growing number of buyers.

Upscale Developments – Near the Beach

While ecology is a running theme throughout Tulum, there is also a kind of land development where the greater focus is on lifestyle and convenience.  These are usually located within comfortable communities that are still very green, but include a greater degree of landscaping.  Village center shopping areas within the community are a good point to look for.  Walking distance to Tulum’s town center and even the beach are features that contribute to the comfort and value of such locations.

Building a home in a location like this shows good promise for income and appreciation from tourism, not to mention a very comfortable lifestyle.

Raw Land

Some buyers prefer the undeveloped “raw” land.  Development land includes all urban services and is ready to build on; in the case of eco land, it includes complete access, parks, etc.  Yet raw land can offer larger tracts for lower prices.  This kind of land generally is for more of a purely investment focus, and takes a greater deal of planning.

Currently land in Tulum is plentiful and it looks like you as a buyer can look forward to an ongoing boom to add value to their property, and bring more services.  Talk to an experienced agent for tips and suggestions on how to make your dream in Tulum come true.
