John de Rotaeche, cancun Broker By John de Rotaeche

I woke up this morning to the sounds of the waves crashing and the morning sun shining through my bedroom window. As the breeze drifted through, so did the smell of my morning coffee. The sweet smell of freshly brewed beans mixed with the salty smell of the ocean was a delight I opened my eyes to each and every morning.

Mexico, where the sun and ocean meet. My home. I moved here a few years back when I hear about the easy going life style that was to be enjoyed south of the border. Cancun real estate helped me purchase a great condo near the beach. Cancun condos for sale and Cancun homes for sale can shape your dreams.
Everyday I see beauty right in front of me, I don't have to go searching for it. It's in the trees, on the beach, down the street and everywhere you look. From the minute the sun rises, the ocean comes alive. The bright blue sky, occasionally freckled with clouds, shines over everyone. It's hard not to smile, close your eyes and let the warmth wash over you.

With so many things to do, my days are full. I have Spanish class in the morning, followed by a visit to the local market to pick up some fresh fruit and vegetables. Then home for some cleaning, lunch and a walk on the beach. After wondering up and down the beach for awhile comes my favorite part of the day, siesta! Not as common as it used to be, the siesta is a personal choice that I love taking full advantage of. I take my siesta the traditional way, like most Mexicans, in a hammock.

When the gentle rocking wakes me, I start to think about dinner time. There are so many wonderful Mexican dishes. I've tried a lot of them, but everyday I hear about a new dish from another part of Mexico that I haven't tried. Whether I go out or stay in my taste buds are never disappointed, just be careful which chilies you buy. There are so many different kinds and I learned the hard way. It's always best to ask if you are unsure which are hot and which are not.

After dinner, I relax at home, or sometimes head out for a coffee or drink with friends. Sometimes we go dancing, or spend hours catching up. Your day can be full or free. Spend everyday soaking up the sun or spend your day out having an adventure. There are an endless number of fun activities to participate in. Bike tours, snorkeling trips, shopping at the mall... Try them all!

Life is very different here in Mexico. Less stress and more living. Now, my biggest worry is whether to have one margarita or two, or maybe three.
