I recently took a trip to Cancun, Mexico. Well, I traveled around a bit and I have lots to share with you. I am a beach person and let me tell you, if you are a beach person, there is no better place to visit than the Riviera Maya. These are my experiences in the top beaches in the Riviera Maya.

The Riviera Maya stretches roughly 150km along the coast of eastern portion of the Yucatán Peninsula. With fresh salt water washing up on the shore of sand white beaches all the way from Cancun to Punta Allen, it's not hard to find 25 fantastic beaches that would take your breath away.

I started my trip on the north most end of the Yucatan Peninsula in Cancun.   (I noticed some beautiful Cancun properties for sale!). I went to check out some land to buy and I ended up having the most amazing time traveling down the coast finding beach after beach, each one more beautiful than the last. As I traveled south I found Puerto Morelos. I small town between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Dotted with people here and there it's a place where you can wonder along the shore for hours. The locals love it!

Continuing on to Playa del Carmen I found a lot of little beaches that run continuously from one end of Playa del Carmen to the other. Colosio beach, Shangri-la beach, Lighthouse beach, Coco beach, Constituyentes beach, and the most popular of all Mamitas beach. Mamitas is well known in Playa as the party beach. It regularly host concerts and festivals throughout the year. If you want a sun bed, umbrella or sun chair (supplied by the beach clubs, at a cost) it's a good idea to get there early. The best thing is that once you are there you don't have to leave. They have restrooms, a restaurant, cool drinks and there is even a pool.

Puerto Aventuras not only has a great beach, but it's the most beautiful community I've seen. In the middle of restaurants, hotels, condos and local stores, there is a fantastic dolphin sanctuary. You can walk freely around the dolphin pools and even see sea lions, manatees, and manta rays.

Heading south again I fell in love with Akumal beach. In my opinion the best place to go snorkeling or to relax after a day of fishing. You can snorkel right off the shore, try to find some turtles, it's not that hard! Tulum North beach is another popular choice amongst the locals. Xpu-ha beach is great for camping. Sian Kaan is a natural reserve that's also great for camping. It leads the way to the southmost point of the Yucatan peninsula, Boca Paila.

Xcacel Beach, Xcalacoco Beach, Grand Coral Beach, Xaman-Ha Beach, Bahia Principe, The Reef Beach, Sirenis Beach, Playa Parasio, Caleta Yal-Ku, Halfmoon Bay, Soliman Bay, Luna Maya are some of the other amazing beaches I found on my journey.

It's impossible to tell you about the wonders of all these amazing places. Beside I don't want to give everything away. I have to leave some places for you to discover yourself. But I will tell you that Playa del Carmen real estate helped me not only find these amazing places but they also helped me find my home. So, what are you waiting for... Start your adventure today.
