"We wanted to leave the dark wet winters of England behind and jet off to the sun. After much research we realized that the Caribbean and The Cape Verde islands were the closest areas that truly offered this. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would have to endure up to 10 hour flights but reasoned that with a home there we would stop for periods of two to four weeks. In fact the flights were not only bearable but quite enjoyable being entertained on the way out and sleeping most of the way back. We visited a few of the Caribbean islands and felt that the natives were not that keen on the interlopers. We also visited Cape Verde that just does not live up to the hype in any way. Then we came across web sites on the Mexican Caribbean and sent out some enquiries.
Thomas’s site  was the only one that took time to search for what we were looking for and not what they wanted to sell. The properties offered appeared to fit the bill perfectly at a sensible budget so having checked out flight costs and availability (which were plentiful and reasonable) decided to give it a go.
We found the local Mexicans to be extremely friendly and welcoming and the climate to be typical Caribbean, with beautiful turquoise seas, Thomas turned up just as planned and could not have been more helpful.
We spent some time visiting properties that were great but in the wrong area or properties that did not suit in lovely areas.
However Thomas remained smiling and helpful as ever and kept introducing us to properties that were gradually getting closer to our ideal. Then we found it! A fantastic house in a wonderful location, in fact truly a home in paradise. Surprisingly it was not what either of us had visualized buying and yet it ticked all the boxes.
It really showed the value of having local, patient advice and guidance which Thomas certainly has. We are now about to start altering the property downstairs which will entail getting the builders in, once again Thomas is there offering his assistance to monitor the works for us and sending photographs of progress.
This speaks volumes about his integrity as most agents disappear in the dust when the property is bought, whereas Thomas is helpful to the end."
