Over the years of working in the real estate industry here in Mexico, I have met and spoken with many American, Canadian, European property seekers Many of these buyers share their criterias with me when searching for a Mexico home for sale
And, many share with me their strategies of retiring in Mexico once they have finished a few projects, or finished 4 or 5 more years at their present job in their home countries What many of these people are planning, or many of the ideas that my old clients have in mind is to retire here to Mexico
Bill for example, with his wife plans to have a condo here on the Mexican Caribbean to spend at least 4 to 6 months of the year Preferably from November through the spring and then return to his home town up in western Canada, where he has already downsized his home, to a smaller condo residence “All my kids are out of the house, so my wife and I don`t need the extra rooms, so we sold and used the extra money to buy our Mexican getaway” Another friend of mine, Jim, fell in love with the culture, the food, the community He was concerned about the medical care or quality of service and knowledge that the Mexican hospitals and doctors had to offerAfter spending many months and years in the Cancun area, he soon found various hospitals, 5 in the region The majority of the doctors are extremely experienced, have studied at some of the world`s most prestigous universities, and speak english perfectlyA new hospital that has opened up two facilities, and is in the process of opening up another center, is financed and administered from investors and owners out of Spain Janet on the other hand, an old client was able to purchase a condo unit in a Mexico close gated community called Puerto Aventuras She was looking for the security found in a walled community She also had the requirement to have easy access entries and exits into all the living areas of her residence She had very weak knees and wanted the least amount of efforts getting into and out of the bathrooms, the pools, requesting no levels at all in her living areas.
