Imagine enjoying a relaxing evening on a wide, soft beach, having a few drinks with friends, listening to some good jazz – live! This is possible in a handful of places, and one of them is Playa del Carmen. If you own a Playa del Carmen condo at the north end of downtown, you will be able to enjoy the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival every November virtually on your doorstep, and, more importantly, right on the beach.
As time goes on, Playa del Carmen Real Estate owners have been able to enjoy more and more great events, ranging from presentations of Mexico’s ancient traditions, still alive and celebrated today, to international events like this jazz festival.
This year, the festival takes place from Thursday November 25th, to Sunday November 28th. (It could be a different way of celebrating Thanksgiving, if you’re inclined towards beaches, warm weather and great music!)
The festival includes local favorites, such as Aguamala, which was founded in Playa del Carmen in 2006, famous romantic Mexican musicians, such as Armando Manzanero, who is a long-time classic,a and whose songs were performed by singers such as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and many other well known musicians, as well as international favorites such as the vocal band, Manhattan Transfer.
The concerts start at 7 pm every evening, and it’s entirely free for the public!
If you have the chance to experience events like this one, you will probably fall in love with this place, and want to live in Mexico!
