FONATUR looking to invest in the Rocky Point real estate region.
With a view to seeking investment opportunities in Rocky Point, the Director General of the National Fund for Tourism Development (FONATUR), Adriana Pérez Quesnel, has toured various parts of the city and held meetings mainly with hoteliers to find ways to invest in tourism projects that benefit the region.
By press conference held with the media and in the company of State Tourism Coordinator, Javier Tapia Camou and Fausto Soto, Director of International Relations of Rocky Point, it was reported that what is sought is to carry out joint projects with the three levels Government to revive the country’s economic situation.
He said “The Rocky Point real estate region already has great connectivity by means of air and ground transportation, all that remains is to bring investors and it is what we are working, so we are here today,†he added .
Quesnel Perez spoke about the importance of that counts in this region with the Sea of Cortez International Airport and the coastal road, which are the main access routes to this destination and added that it will also seek ways to bring tourism sea, specifically by cruise.
He said that during the tours has been conducting various parts of Puerto Peñasco, have been a number of areas, some where you can carry out developments over 2 hectares, but will be within about 2 months, After analyzing the possibilities with the federal government, which have clearly defined what can be done and when it would start.

He said the first investment made by FONATUR is 34 million dollars in what was the Marine Scale.
