How do you imagine your life in Mexico? Most people imagine comfortable Mexico real estate, probably on the beachfront, enjoying walks in the sand, sailing in the ocean, visiting ancient pyramids, etc.
But what about an underwater museum??
Besides all of the other benefits of owning a Mexico condo in Cancun, residents will also now be able to enjoy diving under the ocean to visit visiting 400 sculptures in a museum under the sea!
Late in October, the last of the 400 sculptures that make up the Cancun Underwater Museum National Park, which is located near the coral reef between the east coast of Isla Mujeres, Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc.
This last sculpture was a “Buddha” 4 feet in height, and about 330 pounds in weights, a work of the British sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor, who is known for his works in concrete.
The marine museum, which is a fairly unique tourist attraction, is expected to draw over 750,000 visitors each year.
The completion of this museum is the latest of a series of new attractions and services which continue to make Cancun real estate one of the best world-class choices, offering everything from large shopping centers, to professional golf courses, from state-the-art hospitals to Mexico’s second busiest airport.
In Cancun, whether residents are looking for fine international dining, or the latest movie on big-screen, most of it will be readily available. Of course, no one forgets what many consider to be the most beautiful beach in the world.
