Mexico Notary Public

In Mexico, the Notary Public is an official that is appointed under close scrutiny and via an elaborate process by the state government's offce. A notary is appointed for every 30,000 people in population. His responsabilities inlcude the power to witness and the certifications of official documents for authenticity. The Mexico Notary Public formalizes the final real estate contract, is responsable for retaining the taxes due from legal property transfers of ownership, and the execution/recording of the contract with the Public Registry.
