As we’ve pointed out on this blog several times over the past month, 2013 is an exciting year for members of Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI,) with a new alliance between AMPI and NAR; it is also a year promising to be full of exciting events and resources for American and Canadian brokers who are interested in sending buyers to Mexico, or simply knowing more about the market.

Recently Catherine Krantz, Promotion Coordinator AMPI / NAR Alliance 2013, has shared the following events related to the new AMPI / NAR alliance that international brokers can keep an eye open for:

1. NAR International Membership drive / Education Campaign on benefits of NAR International membership
2. 4 Newsletters on Investment and Living Opportunities in Mexico for members of NAR
3. Mexico Theme Videos, on AMPI websites and social media pages
4. Webinar on Mexico Opportunities, which will highlight the investment opportunities in Mexico and the appeal of the quality of life here
5. Expos:

• TREB – Realtor Quest Canada May 2013
• Tourism Symposium / CIPS institute Los Cabos, June 2013
• NAR event in San Francisco – November 2013, with Mexico Booth or Pavilion and Mexico promotion night

6. MLS /AMPI Red – online property listings

7. Social Media – AMPI / NAR alliance FB page with easy access to all videos, newsletters and links to all of the existing AMPI and NAR sites

These resources will be useful tools for AMPI Associates (who can now use the REALTOR designation and logo) and for REALTORS in the U.S. and Canada interested in keeping up with the latest in professionalism in Mexico or ensuring that their clients receive the same quality of professional service here in Mexico that they would receive back home.
