Playa del Carmen Real Estate Keeps Heading North

This video presents the continuation of a strong trend within the Playa del Carmen real estate market - the fact that the attractive beachfront area is continually expanding northward. The original town of Playa del Carmen and the area just north of it, together forming the current downtown, have been traditionally the main area of interest for expat buyers. North and south, outside of the city, various upscale communities have also developed.   Early on, however, a couple of working class communities were founded between the current downtown area and the beginning of the gated community areas.
