Puerto Vallarta Condos - The Ideal Beachfront Lifestyle

Among the many excellent options in Mexico condos, Puerto Vallarta stands out as an exceptional choice for a lifestyle in a beachfront community. Generally speaking there are 4 main types of Puerto Vallarta condo locations which allow residents to enjoy this community to its fullest.

Beachfront Condos Downtown – This is the classic choice for a Puerto Vallarta property – right on the beach, a short walk from the old town with its old cobblestone roads and little white homes with red-clay rooftops, and next to the city's "malecon," a boardwalk area with many restaurants, bars and cafes. Life here is ideal – just about the only complaint is that often the prices reflect the fact that many people form all over the world would like to live here.

Hillside Condos Downtown – These condos still offer short walks to the old town, the "malecon," and the beach, but can usually be found for much more accessible prices. In addition, they offer beautiful views of the Bay of Banderas, on which Puerto Vallarta is located, and the surrounding mountains. Several communities right next to the old town are gentrifying, and offer high-quality condos for very good prices.

Suburban Areas – Beachfront – A few of the communities stretching out along the bay have been developed very nicely, and offer beachfront condos for slightly more accessible prices. Besides being further from the malecon area, there is no real disadvantage, and areas such as Nuevo Vallarta have become favorites for Americans and Canadians.

New Development Areas – In these same areas, back from the beaches, new golf course communities and shopping areas are turning up to support the area's healthy tourism and large expat community (some estimates say up to 50,000!) Condos in these new developments are well priced, and offer a convenient and upscale lifestyle, with close access to many modern services. For residents who want to enjoy warm weather, but still be a walk, or very short drive away from supermarkets, and large international chain stores may wish to consider this option.

If living in a Puerto Vallarta condo sounds interesting to you, do your research to find a reliable, qualified agent. Then arrange a visit, and come to explore the various options for yourself. In the end, the most difficult part will probably be choosing between the excellent choices available.
