Near the Beachfront – Living only a 10 minute walk from the world's most beautiful beach is a dream most of us consider beyond our reach. There's no reason it has to be. Well-priced units can be found with short walking access, as well as easy driving access with plenty of parking space at one of Playa del Carmen's favorite beaches.
Gated Community – Playa del Carmen is safe. But living in a gated community with 24 hour security not only adds a certain level of comfort for living in another country, but it also minimizes unnecessary traffic, making it easier to enjoy relaxing walks around your home.
Trails and Green Areas – Trails for walking and biking, and plenty of green areas are usually included in these communities, again, making jogging, strolling or riding bike through the community comfortable. In other words, you can live in an exclusive area without exclusive prices.
Pool & Gym – For this price, you can also expect a few little luxuries in the complex itself itself, such as a pool and a gym, as well as a patio lounge area, just in case you're not in the mood to walk to the beach.
Spacious, Open-Concept Design – The units themselves would modern, with an open-concept design, plenty of space, 2 or 3 bedrooms, and, all around, very pleasant and easy to live in.
Small building – Buildings in Playa del Carmen are never more than 4 stories high. Unless you specifically want it, there's no need to live in a big row of wall-to-wall condos. There are many buildings in complexes with as few as 3 units.
Small Complex – Again, unless you are looking for the added services often offered in larger complexes, you can also find very good Playa del Carmen condos in small complexes offering a very neighborly atmosphere.
Near Downtown – Most buyers don't really want to be in the heart of all the tourist action, but it's nice to be a short drive away. For the price mentioned above, you can have your pick – either right next to downtown, or in one of the gated communities within a short driving distance.
If you're on a smaller budget, don't think that living in comfort in Playa del Carmen is beyond your reach. Very nice properties are readily available, and within reach of your budget.
