We all know that Mexico real estate offers many excellent locations for all property types.   What about condos in the Playa del Carmen real estate area - while we know they're good, is there anything that makes them distinct?

The answer - yes, there is.   While Mexico condos for sale in other areas have their own style and advantages, there are some clear points about Playa del Carmen condos for sale that make them stand out as something unique.   Let's consider some of these points:

  • Low-rise buildings - Something truly unique about Playa del Carmen and the area directly surrounding is that there are restrictions on the height of buildings; no building can be larger than 4 stories tall.   This means that condos in Playa del Carmen have a distinct, small-community atmosphere.   This concept defines lifestyle in the area to some extent.   Residents know their neighbors, people chat on the sidewalk, at the café or on the beach.   It gives the condos themselves and the area as a whole a small-town atmosphere.

  • European atmosphere - In addition to the small-town atmosphere, Playa del Carmen has picked up something from the many Italian expats that have invested and live in the area.   With many cafes, gelaterias, pizza, pasta & Champaign bars, not to mention local bakeries and fruit markets, many people feel that Playa del Carmen feels “European.”   The feeling is not strictly “European,” since the large number of Argentineans have also left their mark with their neighborly soccer bars and elegant steak houses.   Alongside all of this, there are plenty of American restaurants and stores to be found.   Of course, the largest group is Americans, but these tend to be Americans who enjoy the blend of conveniences from back home with that European flavor.

  • Excellent value, healthy appreciation - Prices for what you get are much lower than just about anywhere else that offers this kind of warm-weather beachfront lifestyle.   Playa del Carmen has also shown consistent and healthy appreciation, even during economic downturns.   While the heaviest boom with very quick turn-around in prices was in the middle of the decade (2000s) Playa del Carmen's condos continued to rise steadily in price, even during the brunt of the recession when just about everywhere else, people were trying to sell off condos at whatever price they could get.   Due to the unique atmosphere and solid backing of tourism offered here, Playa del Carmen has held steady.

  • Playa del Carmen's beachfront - This is no small point to be overlooked.   We might say “last but certainly not least …” The beaches in Playa del Carmen are considered by many to be the most beautiful in the world.   They have soft, white sand, they're wide, and the Caribbean Sea is a turquoise that is rarely found anywhere.   They are not only beautiful, but they are also very comfortable for walking on, or going for a dip in the warm water.   There's also nothing like enjoying a drink in the evening while feeling the cool breeze of the ocean.   Condos can be found directly on the beachfront, but the beach can be enjoyed fully even for those who buy a couple of blocks back.

Buyers interested in Mexico condos should consider Playa del Carmen.   Those who visit will see for themselves it is truly unique, something special to be given extra consideration and, most importantly, something they can really afford.; Mexico's Leading Network of Specialists for Finding and Purchasing Mexican Properties Safely
