Beachfront Homes – While in the central areas and nearby communities of Playa del Carmen homes directly on the beachfront are rare, there are some villages within about 20-30 minutes where beautiful beachfront homes on private lots can be found. Prices are, of course, higher than for condos, but are surprisingly low considering the quality of the homes and the location directly on a beautiful beach.
