There are also state-of-the-art hospitals, which offer the highest level service at a fraction of the price of that in the U.S. Life in either of these places most certainly not lacking the comforts of home.
Easy air access - Both locations include well-connected international airports. Direct flights to all major North American airports leave regularly. Recently, there has also been an increase in the number of discount airlines offering direct flights at surprisingly prices! There are also a large number of connecting flights for reasonable prices either to save money or to arrive from smaller locations.
Rental potential - Since both areas have thriving tourism, those owning beachfront condos have the possibility of generating income by renting them out to other vacationers while they are not using them. Buyers interested in this option should consult with an agent to be sure the potential is good for their property type and location.
Healthy resale market - A large number of tourists means healthy exposure to the main real estate market - tourists. In both places owners can be confident that in the case of resale in the future, there is a sufficient flow of potential buyers.
Generally speaking, the atmosphere of Cancun and Puerto Vallarta is significantly different; yet, buyers can consider beachfront real estate in either location with confidence that they are gaining the full benefit of tourism.
