If you are like most Americans and Canadians, you know that Mexico’s beachfront resorts are some of the best places to spend a vacation.  You may not know, however, that you can own properties within some of these same resort complexes, such as Bahia Principe real estate.  The following are some points you should know about real estate within resorts in Mexico.

Ownership is fully titled with all legal rights

Prices are excellent

Considering the amenities, location near the beach and warm weather and quality of the real estate, prices are very low.  The price for a single-family home is within the average budget; condos can be acquired for even less.

Appreciation tends to be high

Resort real estate in the Tulum area has experienced excellent appreciation in property value over the past decade.  Growing tourism and the popularity of all-inclusive packages guarantees that resort real estate gets excellent exposure to the largest portion of the market for international buyers.  It also tends to be the real estate type that the majority of first-time buyers are most comfortable with since their experience in Mexico is usually resort focused.
