Vacations are fun because you can allow yourself a little more freedom than you would otherwise take – more freedom to explore new places, more freedom to splurge on luxury, etc.  Mexico’s Caribbean Coast (Cancun and the area running southwards) is an area full of such items that people are just waiting to try out and, when they vacation here, finally get the chance to do so.  Let’s look at just one such possibility – the possibility of a luxury vacation in the jungle in Costa Maya, which is the southern half of this region.

Costa Maya is the undiscovered, undeveloped part of the Mexican Caribbean.  Along the beach road running north of the main town of Mahuahal, it is more likely that you will have to slow down for wildlife than for other traffic.  There is bush everywhere - now and then, an open field, or a group of beachfront homes.  Vacations here are truly relaxing.  Vacationers can enjoy fresh air and true quiet, where the sound of the waves on the beach, or the birds of the jungle are often the only sound to be heard.

Of course, the beaches are the best to be found.  The sand is soft and white, and the warm water has that unique turquoise color.  The weather is warm and sunny year round making it possible to enjoy this paradise at any time.

The best way to enjoy this is a Costa Maya vacation rental.  A rental allows vacationers to choose the home and location that is specifically most appealing to them, as secluded as desired.  Both off-the-grid homes as well as those with all modern utilities can be found.

All offer luxury in the sense that they are comfortable, large homes that offer full enjoyment of the surrounding nature within a modern, well-designed clean setting.

Such rentals can be found throughout Costa Maya, and even within the biosphere reserve that defines the northern boundary, known as Sian Kaan, for those who prefer completely off the beaten track!

Even further north, excellent options can be found.  For example, Akumal vacation rentals, up in the “Riviera Maya” are likewise luxury homes and many are sustainable and eco-friendly.  These are closer to more modern conveniences such as shopping, movie theaters, etc., but prices will be somewhat higher, and the location is not as secluded.

Any vacationer who loves nature but wants to stay in the comfort of a luxury home will find something for their tastes in this beautiful part of Mexico.; Mexico's Leading Network of Specialists for Finding and Purchasing Mexican Properties Safely
