Amongst the population\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s favorites is the celebration of death. Although in reality, they do not celebrate death in itself, but the life of those who parted. Death is generally portrayed\u00c2\u00a0as a sad event; it is hard to understand why someone has left. With time, pain and grieving transitions to pride for the life lived.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Day of the Dead is celebrated on November 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> every year across the country. One day is dedicated to adults and the other to children. Altars are erected across the country in representation of those who have left, giving them a guiding light to find their way back into the living world for a day to enjoy time with the friends and family they left behind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/s255.photobucket.com\/user\/beatlo\/media\/Otros\/10367599_10152548898817648_5202629039258281864_n_zpsluafqkq1.jpg.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Otros\/10367599_10152548898817648_5202629039258281864_n_zpsluafqkq1.jpg\" alt=\" photo 10367599_10152548898817648_5202629039258281864_n_zpsluafqkq1.jpg\" width=\"301\" height=\"452\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are many things to acknowledge about this lively yet grim celebration: altars, food, music, colors, dancing, parades, and much more. There is one thing people love and that is <em>catrinas<\/em>. Across the world \u00e2\u20ac\u201c both virtual and physical \u00e2\u20ac\u201c people paint their faces to resemble it. White foundation, black eyes, stitched mouths and a lot of creativity in decoration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sometime between 1910 and 1913, Mexican printmaker Jos\u00c3\u00a9 Guadalupe Posada sketched the first Catrina, which went on to become Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s icon and symbol of Day of the Dead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/s255.photobucket.com\/user\/beatlo\/media\/Otros\/10606149_10152548884947648_1168927355963141423_n_zps5teek9dl.jpg.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Otros\/10606149_10152548884947648_1168927355963141423_n_zps5teek9dl.jpg\" alt=\" photo 10606149_10152548884947648_1168927355963141423_n_zps5teek9dl.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t exactly know where the time has gone; but it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mid October once more and the Top Mexico Real Estate team is over-the-moon excited with the news that our annual Catrina Fest is back. In case you missed out in previous years, our team is particularly festive and this is not a party we want to miss out on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re looking for the perfect photo opportunity while engaging in one of Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most beautiful traditions, join us for our yearly parade down 5<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.
