I have edited and updated a few article to include new tax laws and closing costs for the Yucatan Real Estate<\/a> region.\u00c2\u00a0 These updates will compliment my article I posted last 14th of June.<\/p>\n

The updates for 2010 include a capital gains tax of 29% as well a regulation that home owners who qualify to avoid a percentage, or all of the ISR,\u00c2\u00a0 are allowed to exercise that privilege once every 5-years.<\/p>\n

CORPORATION CAPITAL GAINS taxes are a little more complicated.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 If you are holding title by utilizing a FOMC (Foreign Owned Mexican Corporation) it will be most beneficial to employ a sharp accountant.\u00c2\u00a0 They will counsel you in order to reduce your ISR obligations to the minimum possible when you sell your Mexico real estate<\/a>.<\/p>\n
