The 5th Wine and Food Festival<\/strong><\/a> wrapped up this weekend after 4 days that <\/span>celebrated\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>the flavors of Mexico, Spain and France. International talents of the culinary world, including chefs and sommeliers, descended upon o<\/span>ne of largest culinary festivals in the Caribbean, with a huga sampling of\u00c2\u00a0dishes created by the celebrity chefs.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year Mexico, Spain and France were honored and their culinary tastes were\u00c2\u00a0on display throughout the four days of events which were held in different venues in Cancun and across around the Riviera Maya. The focus was on the flavors of Spain and Mexico, with two well known chef\u00c2\u00a0attending:\u00c2\u00a0Alejandro Ruiz<\/strong>, an important personality in the Mexican food scene, and Albert Adri\u00c3\u00a0 from Spain, regarded as the best pastry chef in the world. Both shared their experiences and had two separate Tribute Dinners in their honor.<\/p>\n

Among the participating area resorts were Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun, the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Zoetry Villa Rolandi Isla Mujeres, Secrets The Vine Resort & Spa, Hard Rock Cancun and Sandos Cancu<\/strong>n, where the event kicked off with a cocktail reception.<\/p>\n

There were beer, wine and Mezcal tastings, cooking classes with the celebrity chefs, and Nespresso, Ridge Vineyards and Casa Madero tastings. A\u00c2\u00a0celebrity catamaran cruise has held\u00c2\u00a0at Zoetry Villa Rolandi Isla Mujeres<\/a> and a star chefs dinner at the Cancun Hard Rock Hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n
