The state of Quintana Roo has just won a large number of\u00c2\u00a0awards during the recent Mexico Tourism Tianguis 2016 event held in Guadalajara. The state governor Roberto Borge Angulo returned from the event with 20 of TripAdvisor\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Traveller\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Choice 2016 awards. The awards recognized the state for best destinations and best beaches, based on millions of unbiased opinions from global travelers. \u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>Riviera Maya News,<\/span><\/i>\u00c2\u00a0who recently reported the story,\u00c2\u00a0Playa del Carmen was awarded first place<\/a> as the Best Destination In Mexico<\/strong>, with Cancun in\u00c2\u00a0second place<\/a> and Tulum in fifth<\/a>. Playa del Carmen also ranked 19 out of 25 destinations as one of the very best places to visit in the entire world. That\u00c2\u00b4s some pretty high praise for the place we call home.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Roberto Borge said \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<\/i>Annually TripAdvisor awards best of the best in the tourism sector in different categories that reflect the positive experiences of tourists who visit destinations in Mexico and the world<\/em>,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00c2\u00a0Quintana Roo had a\u00c2\u00a0number of different beaches in the state recognized as being among the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s very best, as well as several hotels.\u00c2\u00a0Playa del Carmen\u00c2\u00b4s Rosewood Mayakoba\u00c2\u00a0got the top spot as\u00c2\u00a0Best Hotel In Mexico<\/strong>, followed by the Belmond Maroma Resort and Spa in Playa Maroma in second and Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos took seventh.<\/p>\n
