Today I\u00c2\u00b4m going to talk about the Mexican economy. Some of\u00c2\u00a0you following this blog\u00c2\u00a0may be stock brokers, traders or investors, but what unites you all is a desire to learn about the purchase of property in Mexico<\/strong>. So if you are looking for a home or condo with the intention of making some money, then the current state of the Mexican economy is something that you should all\u00c2\u00a0be aware of.<\/p>\n The good news is that Mexico has a stable economy, thanks to its\u00c2\u00b4solid economic connection to the U.S.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0‘\u00c2\u00a0Forbes<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0magazine recently published an article on the subject, and I will be referencing it in this post. In the article, global economist specialist Sara Zervos wrote that \u00c2\u00a8when emering markets sell off, Mexico acts like a relative safe haven,<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a8 as well as stating that \u00c2\u00a8the growth of Mexico is steady and positive.\u00c2\u00a0In short, this means that when the US economy is doing well, so is Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, but when the US economy tanks, Mexico will also take somewhat of a hit.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a8<\/p>\n Mexico benefits\u00c2\u00a0from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and has risen to the challenges\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>opportunities presented by the tech boom. It has a highly\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>skilled workforce that can meet the\u00c2\u00a0demands of most manufacturers.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153<\/span><\/i>With the exception of the Great Financial Crisis, Mexico has grown around 2-4% annually over the last 10 years.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0says Zervos<\/span>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a8Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s stock market has been doing very well since 2012….growing around 22% in local currency terms since January 2012, it has reflected the movements of the US more than its southern neighbors like Brazil or Chile.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n
