When you talk to people from outside of Mexico about the state of Campeche, most of us have never even heard of the word.\u00c2\u00a0 Real Estate topics on this state are even less familiar with non-Mexicans and the tourism is only just starting to become known.\u00c2\u00a0 But people are starting to hear more and more about the area and that this state of Campeche shares the Yucatan peninsula with two other states called Yucatan and Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n

Campeche is one of the smaller states of the Mexico real estate<\/a> territory but one of great importance given that some of the main headquarters of the PEMEX OIL organization is established within the municipality of Ciudad del Carmen.\u00c2\u00a0 Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche sits on the Gulf of Mexico and the base of operations for the majority of the Gulf of Mexico oil platforms.<\/p>\n

The local, state, and federal government have realized that the region needs to diversify their economic base and not rely so much upon just one industry.\u00c2\u00a0 With the rich history, the beautiful natural resources that exist, the warm climate and culture, these factors all add up to a good product to introduce to the north American market.\u00c2\u00a0 The tourist board has introduced a great Campeche guide<\/a> that shows all of the activities and attractions of the area.<\/p>\n

People will soon begin discovering the beaches, and the ease of arriving to these regions which are very important factors to the Campeche real estate potential.\u00c2\u00a0 As we discussed in previous posts, Campeche could be thought of\u00c2\u00a0 as what the Florida market was back in the 1960s.<\/p>\n
