\"TulumAfter a year that Tulum has become its own Municipality, it has a new and first mayor It is estimated that 17,000 citizens went to the booths to vote which includes the city of Tulum, and various villages including Akumal<\/a>, Boca Paila, Punta Allen, Francisco Uh May, Coba and various other villages in this region of Quintana Roo Quintana Roo, now has 9 separate municipalities when this Mexican Caribbean city separated from Solidaridad (Playa del Carmen<\/a>) in 2008<\/span><\/p>\n

There were five candidates campaigning to win the slot and which they started their tours and strategies since December 12th of 2008 The new mayor will be sworn into office on April 1st and their term will consist of 24 month in the public service position until April 9th of 2011<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tulum real estate market <\/a>will benefit favorably to these events As many of you either have already invested in a property or are in those final steps to invest, with Tulum having their own municipality and their own offices will allow for an increase in efficiency and will promote the interest of investors The people directing these new offices will be from the city, from the region, and will be able to focus on responding and helping other residents and property owners to resolve obstacles in zoning, resolve obstacles in building permits and to help the planned growth of this community<\/span><\/p>\n
