Orignally from St. Louis, MO and Chicago, IL USA I have had the great fortune of living and working primarily in Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean for over 16 years on a full time basis.\u00c2\u00a0 After completing my University studies\u00c2\u00a0at St. Louis University in Missouri and their Campus in Madrid, Spain I knew I wanted to live in a Latin American environment.\u00c2\u00a0 I came to Cancun originally as a SCUBA instructor and Operations Manager in February\u00c2\u00a01994. \u00c2\u00a0I saw the tremendous amount of opportunity and growth in the Cancun real estate<\/a> market.\u00c2\u00a0 With all of its natural beauty, a fabulous\u00c2\u00a0warm climate, wonderful fun loving residents from many parts of the world, I knew this was the place for me.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 For the past 6 years I have been primarily focused on the ever growing Cancun market in the area of the Mexico real estate<\/a> region.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Being one of a small handful of North Americans to complete the Mexico Real Estate diploma at La Salle University in Cancun it has given me a great amount of additional knowledge and a tremendous amount of\u00c2\u00a0contacts for this industry.<\/p>\n

In the past six months we have seen numerous inquires for people looking for properties and many more closings with a lot of purchasers taking advantage of a strong buyers market.\u00c2\u00a0 Using more rent to purchase options and owner financing when\u00c2\u00a0possible this has provided a slightly great opportunity with the current\u00c2\u00a0more challenging situation of mortgage loans and tougher requirements for credit approvals.<\/p><\/div>\n

3)\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0What part of Cancun do you see growing in the next five years?<\/div>\n

Cancun is continuing to grow on the remaining areas of\u00c2\u00a0oceanfront and lagoon front\u00c2\u00a0providing greater access for nautical enthusiasts of every type.\u00c2\u00a0 As well inland as Cancun’s\u00c2\u00a0new areas continue to meet the demand of a\u00c2\u00a0growing population.<\/p><\/div>\n
