However, there will be no lack of celebrations during this particular time of year. You can experience San Miguel\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Christmas spirit around every corner. Christmas Traditions<\/h4>\n

The following celebrations will outline a few of the special events that happen throughout December.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fiesta of Guadalupe<\/span><\/em>\u00c2\u00a0on December 12th is one of the most spiritual traditions throughout all of Mexico. Later in the evening and throughout the night, the mariachis will serenade her. is another special event that happens nine consecutive nights from December 16th to 24. The word\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Posadas,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/em>which means shelter, represents Joseph and Mary\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nine-day trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a Posada. Noche Buena <\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

on\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/em>December 24th – Christmas Eve Night is actually more important to the Mexican people than Christmas Day. The people from San Miguel set a full-size manger with live animals and people reenacting Jesus\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s birth. The last\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>Posada\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/em>parades by the manger and gives thanks to the glorious event. Afterward, families head home and get ready to party. Food is abundant, and cheers to last through the entire night.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
