Great question; let me narrow them down to my top 5 reasons of moving to the Puerto Vallarta real estate<\/a> region:<\/p>\n

  1. WEATHER:\u00c2\u00a0 The sub tropical climate here is beautiful from October-June.\u00c2\u00a0 Warm, sunny days, cool evenings, and a gentle breeze. A running joke I have with my friends during these months is whether it could be more perfect if it was one degree cooler or one degree warmer!\u00c2\u00a0 We have yet to reach a consensus.<\/li>\n
  2. \"\"PEOPLE:\u00c2\u00a0 The people here are warm, inviting and constantly smiling.\u00c2\u00a0 They eagerly embrace foreigners and are incredibly well-natured.\u00c2\u00a0 Mexicans live for the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153moment\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, they do not dwell in the past or fret about the future.\u00c2\u00a0 I have made many great friendships here in the Mexico real estate<\/a> region and for this I am very grateful.<\/li>\n
  3. ACTIVITIES:\u00c2\u00a0 Whether it is playing tennis (my personal passion), golfing, fishing, swimming, strolling the Malecon, browsing world class art galleries and shops, meeting new friends, learning a new language, volunteering for numerous charities or dining in gourmet restaurants, there is something here for everyone.\u00c2\u00a0 You can expand your horizons and find your passion in Puerto Vallarta.<\/li>\n
  4. HEALTH:\u00c2\u00a0 Not only do I lead a much healthier lifestyle here; eating fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and staying active, I also have access to great affordable healthcare.\u00c2\u00a0 Major medical health care for my family (wife and two boys) is less than $1500 USD per year.\u00c2\u00a0 A visit to the doctor is approximately $25 USD and they actually take time to sit down with you and talk to you about your illness; they will also inquire about your family and give you advice on wellness.<\/li>\n
  5. \"\"PACE OF LIFE:\u00c2\u00a0 It moves slower here.\u00c2\u00a0 Family is important.\u00c2\u00a0 The elderly are cherished.\u00c2\u00a0 Children are loved.\u00c2\u00a0 The \u00e2\u20ac\u0153little things in life\u00e2\u20ac\u009d matter here.\u00c2\u00a0 Streets close to host \u00e2\u20ac\u0153alfresco\u00e2\u20ac\u009d neighborhood block parties.\u00c2\u00a0 It is hard to explain, but it feels like my hometown did thirty years ago.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Of course no place is perfect; here are some things that I find challenging:\u00c2\u00a0 Hills and cobblestone roads can make walking (and driving for that matter!) difficult in some areas.\u00c2\u00a0 There is the occasional language and cultural barrier. We have plenty of rain and high humidity in the summer. \u00c2\u00a0PV is almost a city now; it is not the charming little \u00e2\u20ac\u0153pueblito\u00e2\u20ac\u009d it used to be 10 years ago. \u00c2\u00a0Crowds, traffic, public security and urban planning are issues that need to be addressed.\u00c2\u00a0 Prices are not what they used to be either, most basics are still relatively inexpensive, but the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153splurges\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (top restaurants, golf courses, 5 star hotels, luxury condominiums) have prices rivaling the US.<\/p>\n

    Sorry, it is too hard to narrow my list down to the top 5, so here a couple more:<\/p>\n

ROMANCE:\u00c2\u00a0 The men are charming and handsome, the women are beautiful.\u00c2\u00a0 The weather is sultry, the scenery alluring.\u00c2\u00a0 Clothing is used for modesty, not warmth.\u00c2\u00a0 Couples stroll hand in hand barefoot on sandy beaches during the day and are serenaded by traveling minstrels under starry skies at night.<\/li>\n
    2. NATURAL BEAUTY:\u00c2\u00a0 Everywhere you look in PV there is beauty.\u00c2\u00a0 The sunsets here are truly miraculous.\u00c2\u00a0 The emerald green jungle hillside is awe-inspiring.\u00c2\u00a0 The tropical gardens are absolutely gorgeous.\u00c2\u00a0 There are crystal blue skies, clear ocean water and miles and miles of sandy beaches.\u00c2\u00a0 I am truly blessed to live here.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
