href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/yucatan-real-estate\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yucatan real estate<\/a> region prepared by Mr. Carlos Rangel.\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/carlitosrangel\/mxico-mrida-1920-por-carlitosrangel-mexico\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to see his slide show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These photos show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/land.php\" target=\"_blank\">Mexico land<\/a> and how it looked over 80 years ago.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" 1920.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Yucatan real estate 2\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Merida\/m2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"505\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This Mexico land was the market zone.\u00c2\u00a0 This area has gone through numerous transformations.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the beginning of the 20th century, this zone was known as the &#8220;The horn of plenty&#8221;, given that along the length of the street, people could obtain a wide variety of products and services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Yucatan real estate 3\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Merida\/m3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"119\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is 65th street, at the beginning was the original and main avenue of the City of Merida.\u00c2\u00a0 &#8220;Paseo de las Bonitas&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Yucatan real estate 4\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Merida\/m4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"164\" height=\"125\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today, you will not notice the facade of the Lucas de Galvez market.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Yucatan real estate 5\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Merida\/m5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"313\" height=\"233\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Citadel of San Benito, this is where the San Benito market also exists.\u00c2\u00a0 The military barracks are seen on the far side which no longer exists today.\u00c2\u00a0 The water tower stands on the right hand side<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Yucatan real estate 6\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Merida\/m6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"307\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Above you can see the the facade of the Franciscanos of Yucatan.\u00c2\u00a0 This was the largest convent in Yucatan.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It was destoryed in the middle of the 19th century in order to construct the military barracks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Which was also destroyed in order to make the marketplace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There have been many constructions where the current marketplace is located:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong> The Pyramids of the Mayans of the City of T&#8217;ho,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Then the Convent of San Francisco,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Afterwards the Citadel of San Benito,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Afterwards the Central School of Felipe Carrillo Puerto,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-it was even used as a parking lot at one point in time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong> <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE<\/strong> <a
