A fishing tournament was held in honour of the governor, Felix Gonzalo Canto. Despite some rough looking seas in the morning, the wind died down and the boats were able to go out and a good competition was underway. The fishing tournaments always attract people from both Quintana Roo and Yucatan, with a large portion of participants coming from Mahahual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nearest city, Chetumal (about 1.5 hours drive away).<\/p>\n
