As we start up the first week of 2012, we wanted to share some more of the\u00c2\u00a0 25 Top Beaches of the Riviera Maya<\/a> project, we are excited to share with you the seventh beach \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Coco Beach in Playa del Carmen<\/span><\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 To start we want to remind you of two points; one is that we have already released 6 TOP BEACHES<\/em><\/strong> for your enjoyment!\u00c2\u00a0 Each one has High-Definition videos, beautiful pictures<\/em><\/strong>, descriptions and maps!\u00c2\u00a0 The other point is that there are still 18 more to go, with the same spectacular features, plus some will have a hidden treasure.\u00c2\u00a0 If you visit any of the beaches, you can also check in and leave tips in Foursquare.<\/p>\n

All of these exciting features allow you to enjoy these 7 beaches (plus the 18 to come) from home, to help you forget about the cold for a while.\u00c2\u00a0 More importantly, they will allow you to pick out which one(s) you like the most and make plans to spend a day on each one on your next visit to Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n

Coco Beach in Playa del Carmen is one of the top beaches because of its great location and its up-and-coming hip atmosphere.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pretty much at the end of where all the current action of downtown Playa del Carmen is taking place, with a long stretch of quiet, developed beaches to the other side.\u00c2\u00a0 The beach is currently a nice balance of being a happening place while still being close to the quieter areas of town.<\/p>\n

Yet, the most significant thing that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s happening in Coco Beach is that the quiet beaches to the north are currently seeing upscale condo and hotel development.\u00c2\u00a0 This means that Coco Beach will soon be a very central \u00e2\u20ac\u0153meeting point\u00e2\u20ac\u009d between the original downtown area and the newer tourism growing in the north end of the Playa del Carmen real estate<\/a> area.<\/p>\n

Coco Beach is already a hip and happening place.\u00c2\u00a0 There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a nice restaurant on the beach, a pizza shop nearby and nice, upscale condos in the residential community.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also a nice romantic place to enjoy a bottle of wine as a couple in the evening.<\/p>\n

We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re sure that once you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been to Coco Beach, you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be content with vacations anymore \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and if it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not Coco Beach, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re sure you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll fall in love with one of the other top beaches as your future home \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n
