{"id":4315,"date":"2012-02-16T18:54:54","date_gmt":"2012-02-17T00:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/temp-blog\/?p=4315"},"modified":"2013-10-10T09:08:39","modified_gmt":"2013-10-10T15:08:39","slug":"mexico-real-estate-for-retirement-mexico-scores-90-in-world-wide-retirement-ranking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/mexico-real-estate-for-retirement-mexico-scores-90-in-world-wide-retirement-ranking\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexico Real Estate for Retirement &#8211; Mexico Scores 90% in World-Wide Retirement Ranking!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I keep telling everyone Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the best place to retire.\u00c2\u00a0 I wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t expect you to take my word for it just because I say so, but there are few excellent reasons for you to believe it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m enjoying an excellent retirement in Mexico.<\/li>\n<li>I could give you the names and stories of dozens of others who are doing the same, on any size of budget, and these just the ones I know personally \u00e2\u20ac\u201c there are thousands more.<\/li>\n<li>International ratings, year after year, are ranking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/retire.php\">Mexico retirement<\/a> at the top of the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure style=\"width: 262px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/retire.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Retiring on the Beach in Mexico\" alt=\"Retiring on the Beach in Mexico\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/RETIREMENT\/DSCF4094.jpg\" width=\"262\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Retiring on the Beach in Mexico<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Most recently, The Daily Reckoning gave Mexico a very high score of 89.6 (out of 100) for its quality and accessibility of retirement.\u00c2\u00a0 The following scores were given to various aspects of retiring in Mexico: <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/\">Mexico real estate<\/a><\/strong><strong>: 94<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Social Benefits: 91<\/li>\n<li>Cost of Living: 88<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ease of Integration: 96<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Entertainment &amp; Amenities: 96<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Health: 88<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure: 75<\/li>\n<li>Climate: 89<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The only part I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not too sure about in this rating is that 75% for infrastructure; down here in Playa del Carmen and in many other places like Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Lake Chapala, to name just a few, millions are invested into new infrastructure expansion (roads, airports, etc.) and upkeep every year.\u00c2\u00a0 But perhaps they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re considering the country as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In any case, they right in saying Mexico is a very easy, comfortable and affordable place to retire.\u00c2\u00a0 In this rating, Mexico easily outstripped famous places like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/retire.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Retirement activities in Mexico\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/RETIREMENT\/banner-act-seniors.png\" width=\"320\" height=\"116\" \/><\/a>France, Brazil, Ireland, Costa Rica and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need an international survey to tell you the benefits of retiring in Mexico, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nice to see that news reports beginning to confirm what American retirees have already known for decades:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you want to retire well on a lower budget, retire in Mexico; if you want to live like a king on an average budget, retire in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOPMexicoRealEstate.com; Mexico&#8217;s Leading Network of Specialists for Finding and Purchasing Mexican Properties Safely<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I keep telling everyone Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the best place to retire.\u00c2\u00a0 I wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t expect you to take my word for it just because I say so, but there are few excellent reasons for you to believe it: I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m enjoying an excellent retirement in Mexico.
