Recently, Alberto Espinosa, the president of Coparmex or \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Confederaci\u00c3\u00b3n Patronal de la Rep\u00c3\u00bablica Mexicana,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the Mexican Employers’ Association, said that Mexico has all the potential become a world economic leader.\u00c2\u00a0 This potential indicates that now is a good time for people to invest in Mexico real estate<\/a>, which is sure to benefit in multiple ways as Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s economic achievement continues to increase.<\/p>\n

Against a background of some global economic uncertainty, Mexico now has the opportunity to establish itself as a leading economy with a position which is very “enviable” in the international arena, said the President of Coparmex.\u00c2\u00a0 Mexico has a great opportunity, with very high appeal to investors.<\/p>\n

Currently, the big business creates eight of every 10 jobs in the country, both reflecting the benefit it has had for the Mexican people, and showing how much the country and economy has modernized.<\/p>\n

Espinosa said that to fulfill Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s economic potential, is necessary to strengthen the internal market and carry out some structural changes that are currently on the agenda. He stressed that the country is approaching the upcoming elections (on July 1) with macroeconomic stability, low inflation, public debt under control and interest rates steady, plus it continues to attract foreign investment and international reserves have historic levels.<\/p>\n

His only condition about his prediction is, in fact, the influence of the July presidential election.\u00c2\u00a0 The message was delivered to the 4 presidential candidates, and he emphasized in order for Mexico to achieve its economic consolidation the solid economic legislation currently on the table and some further economic reforms must be approved “above and beyond political and electoral interests.”<\/p>\n

In that sense, he asked the candidates to leave behind their political agendas in favor of fulfilling their responsibilities to the Mexican people.\u00c2\u00a0 These same measures would greatly benefit international investors, including Mexico real estate<\/a> buyers, while improving the quality of life for average Mexicans.<\/p>\n

Currently there seems to be a neck-in-neck tie between Josefina Vazquez, the candidate from the more conservative party of the current President (Felipe Calderon \u00e2\u20ac\u201c \u00e2\u20ac\u0153National Action Party\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or PAN,) and Andres Lopez of the PRD, a leftist party, both candidates at 34.5%, with a third major candidate at 28%.\u00c2\u00a0 While some people are concerned about the popularity of the leftist candidate, Espinosa\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s message was delivered equally to all candidates, indicating an optimism that any of them could and should see their responsibility to turn Mexico\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s rich economic potential into reality.<\/p>\n
