Everything from bills and taxes to maintenance and renovation will be lower for a vacation or retirement property.\u00c2\u00a0 Back home, governments have realized that they can rake in huge amounts of cash taxing these items, at the expense of the average worker who can no longer afford a second property not so much because of the price of the property, but more because of such expenses.\u00c2\u00a0 In Mexico, this is definitely not the case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Cost of Living<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The more time you spend living in Mexico, the more money you save.\u00c2\u00a0 Owning a property helps to make this possible offering yet another way to find savings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Health<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least; living in Mexico is healthier.\u00c2\u00a0 Life is more relaxed and stress free.\u00c2\u00a0 This has health benefits in itself.\u00c2\u00a0 Also, fresh, local fruit and vegetables, as well as seafood, is more readily available at a much better price.\u00c2\u00a0 Year-round warm weather and pleasant climate makes it easier to be active out doors.\u00c2\u00a0 Excellent health-care is available at a fraction of U.S. costs.\u00c2\u00a0 Being healthy becomes very easy, and affordable.\u00c2\u00a0 Wouldn&#8217;t it be nice to &#8220;invest&#8221; in your health by saving money?<\/p>\n<p>Whichever way you look at it, owning Mexico real estate is quite likely going to be a good investment.\u00c2\u00a0 Of course, there are those who simply want the pleasure.\u00c2\u00a0 That&#8217;s fine too!<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Lloyd<\/strong><em> graduated from Purdue University Krannert School of Management with a degree in Management\/Financial Option Investments.
