\"MexicoOne of the biggest myths out there is that good investment – the real kind that brings in cash return – is only for the rich.\u00c2\u00a0 Sure, while the rich have many more opportunities to invest in a greater variety of items, there are excellent investment opportunities out there for those on an average income with only modest savings.Playa del Carmen real estate<\/a> is most certainly a market that demonstrates this point well.<\/p>\n

There’s a story of a couple that I’ve known for a while which I’m not sure I’ve ever shared on this blog.\u00c2\u00a0 For now, I’ll just call them “John and Sally.”<\/p>\n

John and Sally are average Canadians who both work normal, middle class jobs – a firefighter and a nurse, I believe – not people raking in millions or anything like that.<\/p>\n

A while back, they put together what savings they had and bought a Playa del Carmen condo for sale<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 To give an impression of what kind of savings they had, it covered a down payment to take a loan and buy a mid-priced condo; we’re not talking about huge savings. They didn’t look for something “sexy” on the beachfront. \"MexicoThey got a nice condo, but a few blocks back since that was what their budget could afford.<\/p>\n

Since it was for investment they chose long-term rental, aware of the fact that this would maximize their income for a property not directly on the beachfront.\u00c2\u00a0 When they visit Playa, they stay at inexpensive hotels downtown.\u00c2\u00a0 These are nice too – you’re just not spoiled as much.<\/p>\n

Within several years, they had used the rental income to pay off the mortage and add to some further savings they had put together and bought another property.\u00c2\u00a0 This time the mortgage got paid off even more quickly, since they had two rental incomes to put towards it.<\/p>\n

Last I heard John and Sally were owners of three condos.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t know what their total investment expenses were, but I don’t suppose they’ve paid much more than the down payments for the three properties.\u00c2\u00a0 That’s a pretty low investment considering they now own three properties.\u00c2\u00a0 And I’m sure this has amounted to much more than conventional retirement savings.<\/p>\n

\"MexicoWhenever they decide to make the leap and retire in Mexico<\/a>, they’ll have plenty of options.\u00c2\u00a0 They could live in one of the properties and live off the income from the other two.\u00c2\u00a0 They could sell them and have nice savings to live off, or a combination of the two ideas.\u00c2\u00a0 Any way you look at it, they’re set!<\/p>\n

So, what can you do with an average income and only modest savings … ?<\/p>\n

Historias de \u00c3\u00a9xito en inversi\u00c3\u00b3n inmobiliaria existen muchas, sin embargo, una de mis favoritas es la de unos amigos canadienses “John y Sally”, que decidieron comprar un\u00c2\u00a0departamento en venta en Playa del Carmen<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0hace algunos a\u00c3\u00b1os. Contrario a lo que la gente pueda creer, la inversi\u00c3\u00b3n inmobiliaria en destinos vacacionales no es solo para los “ricos”. No se necesita estar lleno de dinero para poder hacer inversiones de este tipo. Existen una gran cantidad de oportunidades de inversi\u00c3\u00b3n para todos los bolsillos, y sobre todo, como en el caso de John y Sally, si revisas tus opciones con detenimiento, podr\u00c3\u00adas estar ante oportunidades realmente irrechazables.<\/p>\n

John es bombero y Sally enfermera, son canadienses de clase media, con un presupuesto bastante apretado. Sus opciones de compra claramente no inclu\u00c3\u00adan propiedades con frente de playa, sin embargo, hace algunos a\u00c3\u00b1os decidieron invertir en un departamento ubicado a unas cuadras de distancia de la playa, modesto pero con el gran atractivo de estar en Playa del Carmen y sus alrededores.<\/p>\n

John y Sally decidieron, a manera de inversi\u00c3\u00b3n, rentar el departamento. Con las rentas mensuales cubr\u00c3\u00adan los pagos del cr\u00c3\u00a9dito hipotecario\u00c2\u00a0que hab\u00c3\u00adan solicitado para poder comprar el departamento. S\u00c3\u00ad, el departamento se estaba \u00c2\u00a1pagando solo!.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al final John y Sally vieron en su departamento una incre\u00c3\u00adble oportunidad de inversi\u00c3\u00b3n. Con el tiempo decidieron volverlo a hacer, y hoy en d\u00c3\u00ada ya van por su 3 departamento comprado en Playa del Carmen. Incre\u00c3\u00adble \u00c2\u00bfcierto?. Oportunidades como esta se presentan todos los d\u00c3\u00adas. Desmitificando la idea de que solo los “ricos” se pueden dar el lujo de comprar propiedades en la playa.<\/p>\n
