In the case of Playa del Carmen, this place is an entire street – 1st Ave. \u00c2\u00a0This quiet street which starts and stops again a couple of times, runs parallel to Fifth Avenue<\/a> between that bustling, trendy street with all its shops and restaurants and the beach.<\/p>\n The Best of Both (or All?) In a way, it’s not surprising that this street remains quiet and unknown. \u00c2\u00a0Its basically serves as back access to the restaurants and hotels of Fifth Ave. on one side, and those on the beachfront on the other. \u00c2\u00a0If you walk by and look down, there are a couple of shops and a bar or two, as well as a few nice little hotels, but generally speaking there’s not much of interest.<\/p>\n![\"Playa](\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Playa%20del%20Carmen%20photos\/First%20Ave\/FirstAve-Condo_zps6494cbb9.jpg\" "\\"A")

<\/div>\n<\/div>\nIt starts of right in the heart of it all,\u00c2\u00a0in the old downtown, and has a little jog running down towards the beach called “1st St.” \u00c2\u00a0It then runs a few blocks north into Little Italy<\/a> and finally through the Mamitas Beach community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nAt this point the street ends and starts up again in the Coco Beach<\/a> community\u00c2\u00a0(see a nice video of the community here<\/a>) although at this point the character of the street is quite different and there are several smaller streets running between Fifth and the beach.<\/div>\nTomorrow, I’ll offer \u00c2\u00a0a peak at some of the many beautiful condos to be found on 1st Ave.<\/div>\n—<\/div>\nDoug Morgan<\/strong> was born in Dayton, Ohio and went to college at Buckeye State. Suele pasar, en cuanto a saturaci\u00c3\u00b3n inmobiliaria se refiere, que las zonas con mayor movimiento y atractivo, donde se encuentra el coraz\u00c3\u00b3n de sus actividades, son aquellas que se saturan de forma m\u00c3\u00a1s acelerada. Sin embargo, en algunas ocasiones puedes encontrarte con la gran sorpresa de que a\u00c3\u00ban existen peque\u00c3\u00b1os recovecos que parecieran no haber sido descubiertos a\u00c3\u00ban. Este es el caso de la 1a avenida de Playa del Carmen, situada a 1 cuadra de la famosa y saturada Quinta avenida, con su extenso corredor tur\u00c3\u00adstico, desarrollos residenciales, oferta hotelera y recreativa, y dem\u00c3\u00a1s; la tranquila 1a avenida de Playa del Carmen es justamente ese oasis inmobiliario que estamos buscando. De alguna forma suena l\u00c3\u00b3gico que esta calle conserve su encanto tranquilo y desconocido, ya que sirve de acceso tanto a la playa como a la Quinta avenida. A\u00c3\u00ban cuando existen peque\u00c3\u00b1os bares y restaurantes durante su recorrido, conserva a la perfecci\u00c3\u00b3n el encanto de ser una calle tranquila y relajada. En realidad su ubicaci\u00c3\u00b3n es mejor al de la Quinta Avenida, considerando que est\u00c3\u00a1 a escasos pasos de la playa. Combina lo mejor de ambos mundos.<\/strong> Su ubicaci\u00c3\u00b3n hace que combine lo mejor de la vida nocturna y cultural de la Quinta Avenida (sin tener que lidiar con su gran bullicio), con la accesibilidad de estar a escasos metros de distancia de la playa. <\/p>\nVentajas:<\/p>\n\n
Aunque la zona de la 1a avenida no se le puede considerar como un “barrio” o colonia como tal, si es reconocido como uno de los lugares con mayor plusval\u00c3\u00ada y con mejor expectativas a futuro. Si no has tenido la oportunidad de recorrer esta parte de Playa del Carmen te invito a que te des una vuelta cuanto antes, en verdad que es un oasis a mitad del para\u00c3\u00adso.<\/div>\n<\/a><\/div>\n
