It seems that this is good news, making for less paper work, at least.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an excerpt from an article from KPMG international tax experts:\u00c2\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Tax time\" src=\"http:\/\/i255.photobucket.com\/albums\/hh138\/beatlo\/Taxtime_zps74da2d58.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The IRS today released an advance copy of Rev. Rul. 2013-14 which concludes that Mexican land trusts used by U.S. persons to hold an ownership interest in residential real estate in certain parts of Mexico are not \u00e2\u20ac\u0153trusts\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for purposes of Reg. section 301.7701-4(a).<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Tax professionals note that in issuing Rev.
