So, if you had a million dollars<\/strong> kicking around and you weren’t sure what to do with it, what would you choose to buy?<\/p>\n

a)\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 A dingy little home in Vancouver’s sketchy east-end slum?<\/p>\n

b)\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 A beachfront villa in Playa del Carmen?<\/p>\n

This is the question that Melissa Carr, blogger of TheThirtiesGrind.com<\/a> and writer for Huffington Post<\/a>, asks.<\/p>\n

For your reference, here’s the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153beautiful\u00e2\u20ac\u009d million-dollar home in Vancouver she’s talking about.<\/p>\n

(Yes, if you’re wondering, that home is really<\/em><\/strong> be listed for over a million dollars!)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s Throw in a Beach<\/strong><\/p>\n

She doesn’t mention Playa del Carmen.\u00c2\u00a0 She compares the hovel in Vancouver’s East End to a beautiful home in Pasadena<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 In fact, she has a whole category of blog posts dedicated to these absurdly over-priced dumps in Vancouver (appropriately called \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Are You F-ing Kidding Me\u00e2\u20ac\u009d!)<\/p>\n

But I’m going to one-up Melissa’s comparison.\u00c2\u00a0 The home she chose in Pasadena is without a doubt a beauty.\u00c2\u00a0 Take a look (link above.)\u00c2\u00a0 But, my only complaint is that it doesn’t include a beach.\u00c2\u00a0 I love beaches \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I guess living in Playa del Carmen has spoiled me.<\/p>\n
