{"id":6875,"date":"2013-08-05T11:50:19","date_gmt":"2013-08-05T17:50:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/temp-blog\/?p=6875"},"modified":"2017-08-28T16:17:04","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T21:17:04","slug":"video-the-tmre-super-marathon-well-super-fun-marathon-to-the-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/video-the-tmre-super-marathon-well-super-fun-marathon-to-the-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"<!--:en-->Video: The TMRE Super Marathon (Well, Super \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Fun\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Marathon) to the Beach!<!--:-->"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en-->Sometimes here in the Top Mexico office we just like to go out and have a bit of fun!\u00c2\u00a0 Just last week we decided to have a little \u00e2\u20ac\u0153race\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of sorts \u00e2\u20ac\u201c not a fair, even or serious race, but certainly a fun one to say the least.<\/p>\n<p>We decided to find out exactly how many minutes it takes to get from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/playadelcarmen-real-estate\/elcieloresidential\/\">El Cielo Residencial<\/a>, a beautiful gated community that has many appealing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/playadelcarmen-real-estate\/\">properties for expats<\/a>, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/top-beaches-mexico\/top-beaches-riviera-maya\/beach.php?name=Xcalacoco_Beach\">the beach<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 Some of us went on bike, others on foot (walking and jogging) and even some in a golf cart!\u00c2\u00a0 As I said, this wasn&#8217;t exactly \u00e2\u20ac\u0153fair,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d but it sure was fun.\u00c2\u00a0 Take a look:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q9Smz_rybfw\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"480\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Now, I know what you&#8217;re thinking:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Don&#8217;t these guys have better things to do with their time?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Well, we probably do.<\/p>\n<p>But, I can tell you this: once you live in Playa del Carmen, you&#8217;ll find yourself taking more time to do things, just for fun!<em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>How long does it take to walk to the beach?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>How far is the walk along the beach to downtown?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>How many good bars can I find along the way?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>What&#8217;s the best meal I can get for $5?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find yourself wondering things like this, and \u00e2\u20ac\u201c just because you have the time, because life is so relaxed and because it&#8217;s fun \u00e2\u20ac\u201c you find yourself taking the time to do it!<\/p>\n<p>But, of course, there is a lesson to be learned from our little outing; El Cielo is really close to the beach, and it&#8217;s a beautiful walk!<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<br \/>\n<strong>Thomas Lloyd<\/strong><em> graduated from Purdue University Krannert School of Management with a degree in Management\/Financial Option Investments.
