\"Home\u00c2\u00a0If you are coming from the United States or Canada to search for homes in Playa del Carmen<\/a> you might be surprised to find a few things lacking! Dishwashers, Garbage Disposals, enough kitchen counter space, bathroom ventilation fans, and even fire alarms are not standard in most homes in Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n

This is shocking to those of us coming from countries in where those items are commonly found.\u00c2\u00a0 Having a dishwasher in the United States is not exactly a luxury! And having a fire alarm is, in fact, mandated!<\/p>\n

\"Dishwasher\u00c2\u00a0But not to worry<\/i>!<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0 This does not mean that you will be forced to live without these convenient items; you just have to keep your eyes open for condos and homes that will come equipped with these features.\u00c2\u00a0 If some of these things are important to you, talk with your Mexico real estate agent to let them know that you want to make it part of your search.<\/p>\n

Your agent will have the best knowledge of which properties they can show you, which either already contain these appliances or have the space to add them.<\/p>\n

If having a lot of cooking space is important to you, look for homes that have a central island built into the kitchen.\u00c2\u00a0 Or if you hate washing dishes there are still plenty of developments that will provide a dishwasher.\u00c2\u00a0 We are very excited that the beautiful new Hacienda del Rio<\/a> homes will come with garbage disposals, which are especially not commonly seen in Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n

\"Indoor\u00c2\u00a0Ask your agent about options such as Quadra Alea<\/a> or Hacienda del Rio which are built with the mentality to accommodate to the comforts of home for their expat buyers.\u00c2\u00a0 If you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t want to buy a condo or home with already built in appliances talk to your agent about homes in where you can add them some day in the future.<\/p>\n

More and more expats are traveling to make Playa del Carmen their home.\u00c2\u00a0 The demand for at home comfort and convenience is rising, and developers are responding!\u00c2\u00a0 Being aware of your necessities, ahead of time, can narrow your search and make for a fun easy experience!<\/p>\n
