The bike is the preferred form of transportation in every neighborhood in Tulum!\u00c2\u00a0 It is incredibly easy to get around and there are safe bike paths built all around the town.\u00c2\u00a0 Bikes often come with baskets on the front so you can cart around your personal items or even groceries.<\/p>\n

If you don’t own a bike; don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worry! You can rent them all around town for a very tiny price!<\/p>\n

Just think of it as a wide open sunroof!<\/h2>\n

The Tulum bike is the new kind of convertible and the new and improved sunroof!\u00c2\u00a0 And who does not love a sunroof on a bright sunny day?\u00c2\u00a0 Feel the wind in your hair, breath fresh air; and if you love listening to music while driving, just pop in your headphones!<\/p>\n

Even babies ride a bike?<\/h2>\n

Bike transportation is always a family affair!\u00c2\u00a0 Do not be surprised to see mothers riding their bikes with special \u00e2\u20ac\u0153car seats\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or bike seats if you will for their babies!\u00c2\u00a0 If that is shocking to you, it won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be after you have spent time living in Tulum and getting to know the culture.<\/p>\n

Biking is also the preferred transportation for area vendors!\u00c2\u00a0 Why stay in one place to sell your items when you can be mobile?\u00c2\u00a0 And without traffic I may add!\u00c2\u00a0 You can find locals selling bread, juice, candy, ice cream, water and all kinds of goodies from their tricycles as they ride down your street, clapping or whistling to give you notification they are around!\u00c2\u00a0 I like to say it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like the Tulum Style Ice cream truck of the 21st<\/sup> century!<\/p>\n

You have to see it to believe it!<\/h2>\n

Have you ever seen a man running an operation squeezing juice by pedaling his bike?\u00c2\u00a0 If you have not and it seems unbelievable I can assure you it is very believable!\u00c2\u00a0 This just proves if you have a little imagination you can do anything!\u00c2\u00a0 And best of all you can do it all by being green and saving the environment!<\/p>\n

Search a bike friendly neighborhood for your home!<\/h2>\n

When you are looking for homes in Tulum you should ask your Mexico real estate agent about properties that are within a good biking distance to and from beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and other area necessities.<\/p>\n

With the up and coming neighborhood and town center of Aldea Zama<\/a>, there is going to be even more reason to ditch the car and grab your two wheeler!<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things about Tulum is the free spirit and simple minded living!\u00c2\u00a0 Those living in Tulum are not part of a fast paced lifestyle.\u00c2\u00a0 They relax, and they take life to the fullest as they are surrounded by all kind of beauty and nature.<\/p>\n
