NAR&#8217;s own Spotlight program has selected Mexico as its first country, and will highlight the many excellent real estate opportunities, as well as the excellent progress that professionalism has made.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Important Steps Forward in Professionalism.<\/strong> While professionalism has advanced in leaps and bounds over the past few years, most states still do not have any requirements for licensing or training; in at least 9 (out of 32) states this is going to change this year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Brokers in the U.S. and Canada can look forward to exciting opportunities to connect to AMPI&#8217;s real estate professionals in Mexico (who, thanks to the work of the International Commission, are now recognized as Realtors) and refer clients to brokers in this country with a greater degree of confidence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Lloyd<\/strong><em> graduated from Purdue University Krannert School of Management with a degree in Management\/Financial Option Investments.
