Buyers will feel more comfortable with someone from their own culture.\u00a0 While comfort can be gained, the solid first impression can make a big difference.<\/p>\n

No: There are More Important Factors<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, there are many factors that are more important.\u00a0 Many Mexican nationals in the industry speak English very well, are members of AMPI (the Mexican affiliate of NAR) and offer professional service dedicated to the needs of the client.\u00a0 They also have experience helping Americans and Canadians.\u00a0 A client would be much better off with a broker who is a highly professional Mexican national than a “washed-up” expat who decided to go into real estate last month because he doesn’t know what else to do.<\/p>\n

Yes #2: Go for the Best of Both Worlds<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you can, you’ll want the best of both worlds – that comfort of working with another expat who also offers the highest level of professionalism.\u00a0 Many established expat brokers and agents are well seasoned in Mexican culture and on top of that have teams that are combined with professional Mexican nationals who contribute to the office navigation of the trans-national purchase.<\/p>\n
