With its 16<sup>th<\/sup> edition, <a href=\"https:\/\/rivieramayajazzfestival.com\/en\/home\/\">the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival<\/a> keeps proving that hosting a free event for locals, expats and tourists is both rentable, profitable, and most importantly, fun. This year, they\u2019re bringing a stellar line up, much like what they\u2019ve brought before, and promise three nights of amazing music and coexistence.<\/p>\n<h3>These Stars Shine Brighter Than the Sky<\/h3>\n<p>This year\u2019s line up will feature the following jazz musicians:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bobby McFerrin<\/li>\n<li>Lalah Hathaway<\/li>\n<li>Pepe Hern\u00e1ndez<\/li>\n<li>Paco Rosas &amp; PK Band<\/li>\n<li>Cristina Morrison<\/li>\n<li>Norah Jones<\/li>\n<li>Drew Tucker and The New Standard<\/li>\n<li>Bebel Gilberto<\/li>\n<li>Lori Williams and Bob Baldwin<\/li>\n<li>Kike Pat \u2013 Un Maya en el Jazz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5286\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/lets-retire-in-mexico\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/rmjf-line-up.png\" alt=\"Riviera Maya Jazz Festival\" width=\"624\" height=\"965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/lets-retire-in-mexico\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/rmjf-line-up.png 624w, https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/lets-retire-in-mexico\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/rmjf-line-up-194x300.png 194w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dario Flota Ocampo, the director of the Tourism Promotion Council for Quintana Roo, spoke highly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theyucatantimes.com\/2018\/10\/riviera-maya-jazz-festival-2018-will-feature-la-creme-de-la-creme\/\">about the quality of the artists<\/a>. The event will take place from November 30<sup>th<\/sup> to December 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and will be hosted, as always, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.topmexicorealestate.com\/playadelcarmen-real-estate\/b-listado-playadelcarmen.php?typeId=0&amp;SPrice1=0&amp;SPrice2=0&amp;Beds=0&amp;Baths=0&amp;art=blpdclist_171018&amp;web=blog\">Mamitas Beach Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The array of artists will delight attendees with a wide selection of sounds, such as Bebel Gilberto\u2019s Brazilian sounds taken from bossa nova and turned into electronic. With 9 Grammys under her belt, she will showcase her incredible versatility and amazing voice by closing the second day.<\/p>\n<h3>Be a Part of the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival<\/h3>\n<p>With such amazing line ups in the past years (including artists such as Earth, Wind &amp; Fire, Herbie Hancock, Celso Pi\u00f1a and John Scofield), it is obvious that everyone wants to be present for this amazing musical party. Jazz, of course, is the music of the people and throughout the years, many have come to enjoy its rhythmic vibes. Because the festival is free (and honestly one of the best events in the region), it is important to take some recommendations into consideration:<\/p>\n<h4>Get there early<\/h4>\n<p>The beach is everyone\u2019s and \u2013 as they say \u2013 first come, first served. Hundreds upon hundreds of locals, expats and tourists attend the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival. So, get there early to pick a nice spot on the beach to sit, lay down a cloth and have yourself a little picnic. You may also want to either take a taxi or be patient with parking. Sitting still by the ocean can definitely get you shivering.<\/p>\n<h4>Make your own picnic<\/h4>\n<p>While there are vendors roaming around the beach offering food and drinks (and you have the Mamitas Beach Club restaurant at hand), you might want to pack some stuff and make a picnic. Sitting by the sea and listening to amazing jazz musicians make for a great date or night out with friends. So, pack up some wine and a few snacks to enjoy in their company.<\/p>\n<h4>Relax and enjoy<\/h4>\n<p>If there is one thing jazz has taught is to go with the flow.
