Puerto Morelos property detail

Puerto Morelos, is small fishing village that is located approx. 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen that was once one of the main shipping ports in the early 1900’s as it is the only deep water port in the area which made it perfect for large and heavy ships to drop and collect their loads. The Puerto Morelos South beach side was once full of warehouses, is now lined with authentic Mexican restaurants and bars and they traded in the large cargo ships to yachts, fishing and tour boats. The beach just a stone throw away from Puerto Morelos main square where there are many quaint souvenir shops, café’s and even Alma Libra bookshop that deals in new and used English books, which is a treasure to many expats in the area. This small fishing village has a lot to offer with the now protected reef there is much diving to be enjoyed as well as miles of unchartered beach to be explored, this explains why every year there is more tourists venturing to this town and even more people are relocating to the area.
