KKIS (Keeping Kids in School) is a program in the Playa del Carmen area which offers school supplies, such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils and crayons for children from low-income families. It helps to keep them in school by eliminating the expense of these necessary items; while for us, these expenses are minimal, for these families they can be considerable impact on their budget, and can even prevent them from putting kids in school!
