The new secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT) Juan Molinar Horcasitas made a statement that “The Airport is just about to Initiate”. The federal offices are working closely with the state of Quintana Roo to make sure the project gets under way as quick as possible committing to a start date before the year ends. The offices of SCT oversee various projects that effects various of the Mexico real estate markets but none may have the largest impact of 2009 than the new Tulum airport. The ex-secretary, Luis Tellez Kuenzlerhad had advanced the project greatly and was near to have started the bidding process when he unexpectedly resigned back in March of this year
