Cheap Mexico Real Estate – Playa del Carmen Condo in Upscale Neighborhood

Playacar is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Playa del Carmen; this is why it’s a great opportunity to find cheap Mexico real estate here, such as one well kept-up 2 bedroom condo at the very low price of $125,000 USD!

As a private, gated community, with tree-lined roads, and pleasant homes, Playacar is safe, clean, quiet, and very visually appealing.  It is also located right next to downtown, making for a very short drive to Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue – the heart of the area’s thriving tourism industry – to the beachfront, and to many more conveniences and services.

Playacar Phase II, where this Playa del Carmen condo is located, is centered around a golf course, giving all residents of the neighborhood easy walking access to golf, which can be enjoyed in warm weather any time of year.  A short walk away from this unit is a small stretch of convenience stores, including a pizza parlor.  A bike trail also runs through the neighborhood, shaded by trees most of the time, making it easy for those who enjoy a relaxing bike ride to get around and get downtown easily and quickly on a bicycle.  If you find a cheap Mexico real estate property in this neighborhood, anything below $200,000 usd will definitely be amongst the lower percentile when compared to the rest of Playacar options.

This particular condo is located near the west entrance, onto the Cancun-Tulum highway, providing easy driving access to these locations.  Just as importantly, directly at the entrance there is a Sam’s Club and a new mall, which includes several large stores, very similar to supermarkets in the U.S., as well as a large-screen movie theater, and many other little shops.  These are within reasonable walking distance for most people.

Living in Playacar is most certainly a luxury especially when compared to the majority of other Mexico real estate options; the good thing about this unit is that allows you to have this luxury without the high price. Homes in Playacar usually start around $400,000  USD (this would also be a bargain, usually a price reduction, and well worth it as well).  While condos can be found for considerably less, this is possibly the cheapest unit available.  The next cheapest is a unit in an adjacent building, listed for $138,000.  From this point, the prices get much higher, quickly.

This recently restored, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit is in excellent condition, with new cypress wood cabinets and closets, a jacuzzi, and a balcony overlooking the pool and garden.  The owner’s family outgrew the condo, and has already moved to a new location, so he hopes to sell quickly, hence the very low price.
