Just last week, I took a drive out to the north end of town, to take a look at how some of the developments in El Cielo, a new gated community in Playa del Carmen, are coming along. We’ve identified two developments within El Cielo as top choices for buyers.
One of them is Villas Tranquilidad, a small complex of 6 high-quality Playa del Carmen villas, and the other is Viliv, a slightly larger complex of 18 spacious 2 bedroom Playa del Carmen condos.
Driving into the community (stopping to check in with the security guard, of course), we passed a few beautifully designed single family homes, which are being built by reputable architects from the Cancun area. El Cielo has building and design regulations to make ensure an upscale image, and this image is already starting to develop as a few lots are being cleared and construction begins of some high-quality, visually appealing Mexico condo complexes and homes.
For Villas Tranquilidad, we just drove past, pausing briefly to take a good look at the completed villas. They have elegant exterior designs, and the development as a whole is already a pleasure to see, and I’m sure even more of a pleasure to live in. We took a peek through the gate to see the large yard and pool area. On the whole, these villas have lived up to everything they were supposed to be – elegant, spacious, comfortable and well-priced. It’s no wonder that 4 of the 6 have already sold.
Then we came to Viliv, which is in much earlier stages of the construction process. Of the six buildings, one has gone up, and is currently a grey concrete structure, still bare-bones; this of course, will change. The entire structure is complete, and I walked up the staircase to the second floor. (There are 3 floors with one condo each, for a total of 18 in the development.)
One of the most outstanding features of the condos themselves can already be seen, clearly – the spacious, open-concept design. The size of the terraces is also notable, which will include a jacuzzi on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and a private pool on the first.
Looking down over what will be the central common area, I could see the completed pool, which already has its tile work in; the rest is still just the cleared land with piping, wiring and foundation work starting to go in to get ready for the construction of the next buildings. Inside, some tiles were being installed in the walls, and I could see where the spacious closets and bedrooms were going to be.
Considering the community as whole, with its upscale concept, walking distance to the beach, and the successful completion and beautiful design of Villas Tranquilidad, I’m very excited about this new project as well. Either of these developments within El Cielo are excellent choices for discerning buyers.
